Celebrating 40 years in the pines!
This year's theme:
"A Hike Down Memory Trail!"
In light of recent events, the committee responsible for putting on Kampout each year are doing every thing they can to safely navigate through preparation and restrictions in place following concerns regarding COVID -19. The staff is discussing how and if the event may move forward and we will make sure to keep you all posted as decisions are made.
During this difficult and stressful time we ask that you follow all State and Local mandates to protect yourself, your loved ones and those around you. We will get through this together and look forward to being able to gather again soon!
What is Kampout?
Kampout Fresno is an annual LGBT+ camping event that takes place every year on the weekend following Labor Day weekend.
Kampout Fresno was established in 1980 in the Central Valley. It is and always has been designed to allow a large social gathering for the LGBT+ community, away from the city where we can cut loose and let our hair down in a fun, safe and friendly environment.
Kampout Fresno was started by the Imperial Dove Court de Fresno. It was passed down to the Kampout Committee in 2006 where it has remained a community staple every year since.

" I am definitely not an outdoor person. Kampout popped my camping cherry and I have looked forward to it every year for the last 4 years! "
